FAST, AFFORDABLE COLOUR PRINTING FROM KYOCERA’S NEW FS-C5020N

Kyocera Mita, the document imaging specialist, today launched the FS-C5020N, the successor product to the award-winning FS-C5016N. The FS-C5020N has all the benefits of the FS-C5016N, printing at 16 pages per minute and 600dpi resolution. It has increased memory, with 128MB as standard, which can be increased to a maximum of 1024MB. As with all ECOSYS printers, the FS-C5020N has extremely low running costs, just 0.89p per mono pages and 3.97p per colour page.

The FS-C5020N is the ideal, economical output device for mono and colour printing requirements in any office enabling organisations to produce professional quality business documents quickly and easily. Its low mono consumables cost per page means that it is suitable for replacing mono-only office printers while offering the additional benefit of colour printing.

Tracey Rawling Church, Head of Marketing at Kyocera Mita comments: “The success of the FS-C5016N was testament to the fact that users have become more knowledgeable when it comes to purchasing colour printers. Colour printing in the office is becoming the rule rather than the exception, and customers are demanding robust and reliable printers that don’t break the bank when it comes to consumables. The FS-C5020N, with its competitive purchase price and low running costs, should fit the bill for those organisations requiring a compact and cost-effective colour printer.”

The FS-C5020N comes networked as standard and has a 500 sheet paper tray and 150-sheet by-pass tray. It has a compact design and is currently the smallest product in its class - ideal for offices where space is limited. Its 400MHz processor and 128MB standard memory ensure that it can cope with complex print jobs without compromising on speed while its 600dpi resolution guarantees crisp, clear output.

The FS-C5020N can be expanded to meet the requirements of high volume users with the addition of up to three extra paper trays. A duplex unit may also be added. The FS-C5020N has a maximum monthly duty cycle of 85,000 pages and toner cassettes yield 8,000 pages.
