ScanSource Europe has added NCR Corporation to its line-up of best-of-breed vendor partners.

NCR’s comprehensive product portfolio for retail and hospitality businesses, including NCR RealPOS™ point-of-sale (POS) terminals, printers and POS peripherals, as well as NCR RealScan™ bar-code scanners, will be made available to ScanSource Europe’s reseller network across Europe.

The partnership will give more retailers access to NCR’s global product range with comprehensive services from ScanSource Europe.

Xavier Cartiaux, managing director of ScanSource Europe, said, “What this partnership brings to the market is an alliance that offers NCR's high quality hardware, together with ScanSource's support and services for resellers. Electronic point-of-sale (EPoS) resellers can take advantage of a range of tools, including configuration services, where NCR products can be delivered built to resellers' individual hardware and software requirements.”

Alberto Camuri, NCR’s vice president for Retail/Hospitality and Self-Service Solutions in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, said, “This new partnership is an important step in NCR’s intention to grow our channel business aggressively in Europe. More retailers want the benefits of scalable EPoS-based solutions that offer a lower total cost of ownership. NCR and ScanSource have delivered this proposition successfully in the United States for many years and we look forward to reaching more resellers and retailers in Europe through this partnership with ScanSource Europe.

NCR, which has over 120 years of experience in serving the retail market, has been a partner to ScanSource Europe’s parent company, ScanSource, Inc. in the United States since 2000. “Adding NCR to ScanSource Europe’s portfolio is great news for European EPoS resellers,” said Mike Baur, president and CEO, ScanSource, Inc. “ScanSource’s proven logistical proficiency means resellers in Europe will be able to benefit from a wide range of NCR products available and in stock now and the knowledge that these products will arrive where they are needed when they are needed.”

ScanSource Europe offers a team of dedicated EPoS sales representatives and Business Development Managers, as well as free technical support and a range of financial options.
